Hello and welcome. This post is a brief intro about the Microsoft Azure cloud. In other words this is about What is Azure?

In cloud computing world, you get services like Computing power, Storage, AI or Machine Learning, App services etc from cloud service provider company.
So basically it is the inverse of maintaining your own server (On-Premises server). Obviously you have to pay for the services you receive from your cloud services vendor.

You will ask what is the benefit for me by doing this? There are a lot of advantages. Sometimes you may have experienced that maintaining your own server is a headache. Here are few advantages of cloud computing.
You pay only for the services you get. If you believe or not, effective usage of cloud resources will save you more money for your business.
What if you suddenly needed more storage or memory to your on premises server? It is not easy to add more resources to your server. Maybe you have to go for downtime and sometimes incompatible hardware may cause unexpected results. In the cloud world, you can expand your resources by clicking a few buttons. It is that much easier. When you do not need them, you can remove them and save money.
Cloud services has high availability. Since the companies that maintain these resources use latest technologies and several other ways to make the services available always.
Like the availability, cloud service providers often use many security technologies to secure your apps, data hosted on cloud. It is much easier than worrying about your local server security.
